The Wellness Community Valley/ Ventura will celebrate more than two decades of providing support and education to people fighting cancer at the Evening of Hope annual gala fundraiser from 6 p.m. to midnight Fri., May 4 at the Four Seasons Hotel, Two Dole Drive, Westlake Village.

One of the biggest fundraisers of the year for the organization, the gala will include professional entertainment, dinner and a live auction featuring big-ticket items.

The following community members and company will be honored for their work with the Wellness Community in support of cancer patients and their families:

Lisa Allison, CPA, will receive the Celebration of Life Award.

Patricia Sica will receive the Celebration of Hope Award.

Susan Speer, registered dietician, will receive the Celebration of Excellence Award.

Dole Food Company will receive the Celebration of Philanthropy Award.
