Moorpark Prez to celebrate Boy Scout Sunday

Moorpark Presbyterian Church will observe Boy Scout Sunday on Feb. 26 at the church, 13950 Peach Hill Road, Moorpark. The community is welcome.

The members of Boy Scout Troop 604, chartered and hosted by the church, will serve as ushers at the 8:15 and 10:45 a.m. services.

From 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the church parking lot, guests can purchase food items.

Hot dogs from Haunt Dawgz Gourmet Food Truck, cupcakes from For Heaven’s Cakes and pizza from Me-N-Ed’s will be available.

The cost for food will be from $3 to $10.

Funds raised from the food sales will go to the Robert Grimaud Fund, which was established to cover the expenses of camps and trips for Scouts who otherwise could not pay their way.

The fund is named for the late Rob Grimaud, who was a father and Scout leader in the church. His sons were also troop members.
