Library to host family legacy workshop
Make stories from autobiography
Friends of the Thousand Oaks Library will present a free family legacy workshop from 6 to 8 p.m. Tues., March 13 at Grant Brimhall Library, 1401 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.
Linda Weaver Clarke will teach participants how to turn family history and autobiography into stories.
Attendees will also learn the elements of writing, and discuss setup, characters, plot and the importance of conflict and emotion.
Clarke tours the United States teaching people how to promote their family legacy.
