Vendors sought for Earth Day event

The City of Thousand Oaks will host the 15th annual Thousand Oaks Arbor/Earth Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sat., April 28 at Conejo Creek Park North, 1379 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks.

Arbor/Earth Day is a free community event presented by thecity and the Conejo Recrea tion and Park District.

The festival draws more than 5,000 visitors annually and features more than 100 local organizations organizaaways, and businesses that promote environmental awareness and eco-friendly products and services.

The family-friendly event includes live entertainment, children’s activities, tree and plant giveaways, composting techniques, new technology vehicles, park rangers and native wild animals. This year’s festival will be a

“zero waste” event.

The city is seeking eco- friendly exhibitors and vendors to participate in this year’s festival. Vendor application and waiver form are available online at www.toaks.org/
