TOHS freshmen get warm welcome


WORKING UP SOME SPIRIT–Incoming Thousand Oaks High School freshmen Taylor Montes, 14, left, and Carter Esqueda, 14, play a version of “rock, paper, scissors” using Lancers, Panthers and Warriors in a game promoting TOHS spirit and friendly competition. Freshman orientation began with the Link Crew last Thursday. Each group of freshmen “links up” with a group of Link Crew seniors during orientation, and the ninth-graders will receive advice, support and guidance throughout the year.
