Jersey Mike’s Subs, a nationwide sub sandwich franchise, has opened its first store in Thousand Oaks at 605 E. Janss Road.

The local owners are Dan Burrell, Angel Velazquez and Artie Maidman.

To commemorate the opening, the new restaurant will host a fundraiser through Sun., Aug. 29, with proceeds supporting Senior Concerns. Patrons with a fund-raising coupon will receive a free regular size sub with a minimum $1 donation.

Store hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
