New Jewish organization offers religious services in Conejo Valley

Conejo Jewish Outreach, a year-old Jewish organization serving the Conejo Valley and surrounding areas, offers religious services for Jewish families during the most important times of their lives.

Rabbi Len Muroff, Conejo Jewish Outreach’s spiritual leader, is available to perform personally meaningful religious services such as baby naming ceremonies, brit milahs (circumcision), bar and bat mitzvahs, weddings and funerals as well as offering bereavement support.

In his 18-year rabbinic career, Muroff has specialized in family education. He creates programs using music, art and interactive learning. Muroff serves annually as co-chair of the Big Sunday project in Agoura/Calabasas, which benefits local food pantries. He has also been involved in interfaith work for many years.

Conejo Jewish Outreach is a Jewish organization that works closely with charities and is involved in communal affairs. The organization serves Calabasas, Agoura Hills, Oak Park, Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks and Newbury Park as well as surrounding communities. Its main priorities are education, social action and prayer.

CJO is inclusive of Jews from varied backgrounds and levels of observance. All families and individuals are welcome, including young families, empty-nesters, intermarried couples and unaffiliated Jews.
