A workshop on musical theater techniques for children will be offered from 9 a.m. to noon Mon. through Fri., Aug. 2 to 6 at Bernadette Nader Music Studio, 229 Via Colinas, Westlake Village.

The workshop will incorporate singing, acting and movement instruction from the musical “Annie.” A presentation of excerpts from the musical will be presented at 7 p.m. Fri., Aug. 6 at the studio.

The program’s music director is Bernadette Nader. The acting and movement director is Anne Lazo.

The workshop offers professional training for the serious actor/musician and an opportunity for beginners to realize their potential.
