Local students make honor roll, earn degrees

•Evan Perillo of Westlake Village was named to the dean’s list for the 2010 spring semester at Northeastern University in Boston.

Perillo is majoring in mechanical engineering.

To achieve the dean’s list distinction, students must carry at least four courses, have a quality point average of 3.25 or greater out of a possible 4.0 and carry no single grade lower than a C. Each student receives a letter of congratulations from their college dean.

•Westlake Village native Kyle Crichton graduated from the University of the Arts with a bachelor of fine arts degree in animation from University’s College of Art and Design at the institution’s 132nd commencement on May 20.

The school is the nation’s only university dedicated to the visual, performing and communication arts. The campus is in the heart of Philadelphia’s Avenue of the Arts.

•Westlake Village native Brian Clements graduated from the University of the Arts with a master of arts in teaching degree in music education from the university’s College of Performing Arts at the institution’s 132nd commencement on May 20.

Clements is a 2005 graduate of Chaminade College Preparatory.

The school is dedicated to the visual, performing and communication arts. The campus is in the heart of Philadelphia’s Avenue of the Arts.
