The new-look Marmonte League has released its 2010 football schedule.

Half of the league’s 10 members—private schools Oaks Christian and St. Bonaventure have joined public schools Agoura, Calabasas, Newbury Park, Moorpark, Royal, Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks and Westlake—begin non-league play Sept. 3.

On that Friday night in the fall, Moorpark travels to Eastlake of San Diego, Newbury Park plays host to Buena, Alemany is at Oaks Christian, Golden Valley visits Simi Valley and Hueneme is on the road against Thousand Oaks.

The following weekend, on Sept. 10, Royal takes on Golden Valley, Calabasas plays at Granada Hills, Agoura travels to Ventura, St. Bonaventure is at Long Beach Poly and Westlake hosts Oxnard.

Each Marmonte team has only one preseason game before league competition begins Sept. 16-17.

League highlights include: Newbury Park at Moorpark (Sept. 16), Thousand Oaks at Westlake (Sept. 16), Oaks Christian at St. Bonaventure (Sept. 17), Thousand Oaks at Newbury Park (Sept. 24), Westlake at Oaks Christian (Oct. 1), Royal at Simi Valley (Oct. 15), Thousand Oaks at Oaks Christian (Oct. 15), St. Bonaventure at Thousand Oaks (Oct. 22), Westlake at Agoura (Oct. 29), Oaks Christian at Moorpark (Oct. 29), St. Bonaventure at Westlake (Nov. 5) and Moorpark at Thousand Oaks (Nov. 12).
