MOTHER NATURE SPREADS HER WINGS–Wildflowers and a butterfly, above, enjoy a summer’s day in Decker Canyon, south of Westlake, the route that leads from Conejo Valley to Malibu through the Santa Monica Mountains. The butterfly, below, seems to be sipping the nectar of a flower. Monday was the first day of summer, so every park and backyard is full of flora and fauna thriving in the perfect weather of Southern California. Enjoy it now because hot weather is just around the corner.
