Newbury Park

A male, 55, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence at 12:26 a.m. May 19 in the 2100 block of Palos Court.

A male, 23, was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment at 11:21 p.m. May 14 in the 1600 block of Calle Turquesa.

On suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance, the following were arrested: A female, 18, at 10:52 p.m. May 14 in a parking lot in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; a male, 46, at 8:25 p.m. May 16 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; and a male, 43, in the 2600 block of W. Hillcrest Drive (after the subject had been caught shoplifting.)

A male, 20, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance at 4:25 p.m. May 12 at American Oaks Avenue and Lodgewood Street.

A storage area above a carport was burglarized between May 8 and 15 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

Somebody caused $100 in damage after breaking into a home in the 600 block of Avenida del Platino late in the evening of May 17.

A 77-year-old female was the victim of theft in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road the morning of May 16.

Somebody tried to break into a home around 12:55 p.m. May 12 in the 4000 block of Maurice Drive.

The In-N-Out on Newbury Road was the site of theft at 1:40 p.m. May 12.

For possession of marijuana two males, 22 and 26, were cited at 3:21 p.m. May 14 in the 600 block of Paseo Esmeralda.

Thousand Oaks

For allegedly committing a lewd act on a child under 14, a male, 36, was arrested in the 4200 block of Minnecota Drive at 4:35 p.m. May 17.

Arrested on suspicion of drunk driving were the following subjects at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 39, at Olsen Road and the 23 Freeway at 11:11 p.m. May 13; a female, 23, on Westlake Boulevard north of Hampshire Road at 1:40 a.m. May 15; a male, 29, in the 500 block of Avenida de La Plata (following a hit-and-run traffic accident in Newbury Park); and a female, 22, at 2:16 a.m. May 17 on St. Charles Drive, west of Wilbur Road.

Somebody willfully caused the death of an animal in the 1300 block of Janss Road the afternoon of May 17.

On suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance the following subjects were arrested at the times, dates and places shown: A male, 20, in the 1200 block of Uppingham Road at 5:32 p.m. May 13; a male, 18, at 10:50 a.m. May 19 in the 2400 block of Calle Gladiolo (also cited for possession); and a male, 18, at 11 a.m. May 19 in the 2400 block of Calle Gladiolo (also cited for theft of a dog, cruelty to an animal and street terrorism).

A female, 23, was found unconscious while at work in the 200 block of W. Janss Road at 11:57 a.m. May 13. She was arrested for being in possession of and under the influence of a controlled substance and she possessed drug paraphernalia.

A male, 22, was cited for parking in a handicap parking space at 8:30 p.m. May 16 in the 3500 block of N. Moorpark Road. He was then arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

A female, 21, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance when she was a passenger in a vehicle whose driver was the subject of a probation search at 8:21 p.m. May 16 in the 3500 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Deputies responded to the 400 block of Sorrento Circle at 1:29 a.m. May 13 where a male was arrested on suspicion of battering a co-inhabitant, the mother of the suspect’s child. Another domestic violence report in the 300 block of Hodencamp Drive resulted in the arrest of a male, 39, at 4:58 p.m. May 18. A female, 39, and a male, 55, were arrested for domestic violence at 4:42 p.m. May 19 in the 1400 block of Northview Drive.

On suspicion of battering his wife, a male, 52, was arrested at 10:41 a.m. May 16 in the 400 block of Fargo Street.

For possession of a controlled substance, a male, 18, was arrested in the 100 block of Memorial Parkway at 5:23 p.m. May 12. He also had a fake California driver’s license.

A female, 26, was arrested for theft involving more than $400 in valuables at 2:34 p.m. May 14 in the 500 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A home was burglarized the night of May 15 in the 400 block of Sundance Street.

Vehicle break-ins occurred between 7:30 and 10:30 p.m. May 16 in the 600 block of McCloud Avenue (unlocked); between 6:30 and 6:50 a.m. May 16 in the 1200 block of Bouquet Circle; the morning of May 15 in the 800 block of Sherwood Drive (window smashed); the night of May 14 in the 1400 block of Strawberry Hill Road (unlocked); the night of May 13 in the 1400 block of Dover Avenue (window broken, clothing stolen); May 13 or 14 in the 500 block of W. Lynnwood Street; night of May 11 in the 300 block of Kevin Street (window smashed); and May 13 or 14 at Calle Margarita and Calle Daluia.

A coin-operated washing machine was forced open and money stolen on May 15 or 16 in the 1900 block of Los Feliz Drive.

A laptop was stolen from the 1900 block of Hidden Oak Court between 2 and 8:30 a.m. May 16.

Somebody broke into a home through a window during the day on May 16 in the 3300 block of Monte Carlo Drive.

A storage locker was burglarized the night of May 16 in the 400 block of Tuolumne Avenue.

A bicycle was stolen the afternoon of May 16 in the 200 block of E. Wilbur Road.

At 11:53 p.m. May 18, a male, 18, was arrested after stealing a wallet from an unlocked vehicle in the 3100 block of W. Adirondack Court.

A male, 51, was arrested for public intoxication at 9:40 p.m. May 19 in the 700 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Thefts from retailers or individuals were reported in various locations: 5:45 p.m. May 12 at a liquor store in the 300 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles; at Macy’s at 2:08 p.m. May 15 involving two juvenile females; between May 5 and 14 in the 1700 block of Fisk Court; in the first block of Olsen Road on May 14 or 15; in the first block of Olsen Road a bicycle was stolen between May 8 and 15; at Macy’s the afternoon of May 14 (subject arrested); and J.C. Penney the afternoon of May 17 (a loss of $135).

A male, 19, was cited for possession of marijuana at 11:15 a.m. May 19 in the 2400 block of Calle Gladiolo.

A window at Thousand Oaks High School was broken on May 7 or 8.

Westlake/T.O.

A male, 42, was arrested for attacking another person with a 2by-4 piece of wood, 20 inches long, at 6:23 p.m. May 19 in the 1200 block of Willsbrook Court.

On suspicion of driving while intoxicated, a male, 49, was arrested at 7:22 p.m. May 16 at Westlake Boulevard and Townsgate Road after he allegedly had been involved in several hit-and-run traffic collisions.

A male, 63, was arrested in Agoura Hills after he fled the scene of an accident at 11:40 a.m. May 12 at T.O. and Westlake boulevards.

Valuables were stolen from two victims between April 21 and 27 in the 5600 block of Grey Feather Court. The loss exceeded $400 and was only recently reported.

A vehicle break-in occurred the night of May 5 in the 1100 block of Deepwood Drive.
