Amgen has been named presenting sponsor for the American Cancer Society’s 2010 Relay For Life of Conejo Valley.

The relay is a family-oriented event where teams collect donations then take turns walking or running around a track for 24 hours.

While not walking, team members camp out around the track, where live music, entertainment and food are available.

The event also includes the opening cancer survivors’ lap and evening candle-lighting luminaria ceremony in memory or honor of those with cancer.

The 13th annual Relay For Life of Conejo Valley is scheduled for Aug. 28 and 29 at the AYSO (American Youth Soccer Organization) soccer fields at Conejo Creek Park South.
