Visual artists in Ventura County are invited to submit work for the seventh annual Thousand Oaks Arts Festival, which will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat. and Sun., Sept. 11 and 12 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, Mary and Richard Carpenter Plaza Park, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., and The Lakes at Thousand Oaks.

Application deadline for artists is July 15. Artists’ booths are $235 with a $35 application fee. A canopy is provided for each booth.

The event will feature more than 60 visual arts exhibitors, live performances, art demonstrations and children’s interactive hands-on exhibits.

Festival admission is free for the public. Friday setup is encouraged, and overnight security is provided.
