Newbury Park

A male, 51, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs and being involved in a hit-and-run traffic accident at 6:30 p.m. April 25 at Lesser and Spanish Gate drives.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: two 18-year-old males at 7:30 p.m. April 27 at Gloria and Rudman drives; a female, 40, at 2 p.m. at room No. 132 at the Motel 6 at 1516 Newbury Road; a male, 19, at 3:05 p.m. April 27 in the 200 block of Acacia Road (subject also possessed drug paraphernalia); and a male, 21, at 7:30 p.m. April 27 in the 800 block of Rudman Drive (subject admitted to using heroin earlier in the day).

A male, 19, was arrested for battering his mother and two brothers. The crime occurred just before 8 a.m. April 28 in the 2900 block of Firwood Court. A female, 36, was cited for battering her son.

A male, 24, was arrested for battery at 10:15 a.m. April 23 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 28, was arrested for violating a domestic violence restraining order at 10:45 a.m. April 25 in the 1700 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A home burglary occurred and $9,800 in merchandise was stolen on April 28 in the 3900 block of Colonett Place. Another home in the same block was burglarized the same day.

A male, 33, drove onto someone’s property and removed steel piping from a recycling bin around 4:15 p.m. April 25 in the 1700 block of Rancho Conejo Boulevard.

A male, 26, attempted to steal several items from Home Depot at 2745 Teller Road around 3 p.m. April 26.

A 19-year-old female was cited for shoplifting from Kohl’s, 1960 Newbury Road, at 8:20 p.m. April 21.

A business was burglarized around 4 a.m. April 27 in the 2300 block of Borchard Road.

A grand theft occurred between March 19 and April 18 along Mountain Creek Drive, between Gentle Creek Circle and Rabbit Creek Lane roads.

Spray-painted graffiti defaced property April 27 or 28 in the 1300 and 1400 blocks of Ramona Drive.

Graffiti was discovered April 18 in the 4000 block of Greendale Circle.

Vehicle break-ins occurred at the following locations: April 27 or 28 in the 3400 block of Gloria Street; between March 1 and April 26 in the 200 block of Devia Drive; April 26 or 27 in the 5100 block of Via Capote (unlocked); April 26 or 27 in the 300 block of S. McKnight Road; April 22 or 23 in the 2200 block of W. Adrian Street (multiple vehicles); April 22 or 23 in the first block of Seabury Court (credit cards, cash and clothing stolen from two vehicles); April 22 or 23 in the first block of S. Madrid Avenue; between 5 and 8 a.m. April 27 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road.

A male, 19, was cited for transporting alcohol as a minor at 9:30 p.m. April 26 in the 2000 block of Shoemaker Lane.

Thousand Oaks

A 37-year-old male was involved in a vehicle pursuit with deputies and later tried to elude the authorities by foot. He was arrested for driving a stolen vehicle with stolen license plates, being under the influence of a controlled substance and possessing burglary tools and a metal pipe in the vehicle at 8:55 p.m. April 23 in the 600 block of N. Moorpark Road.

For battering his ex-girlfriend and running away from the police, a male, 22, was arrested at 4:30 p.m. April 25 in the 1300 block of E. Janss Road.

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 53, at 10:25 a.m. April 26 at Kanan Road and Dawn Meadow Street (subject was involved in a traffic collision); a male, 29, at 4:38 p.m. April 22 in the 3000 block of Los Robles Road (subject was involved in a hit-and-run accident); a female, 22, at 1:42 a.m. April 28 at Moorpark and Wilbur roads.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a female, 31, at 11 a.m. April 27 in the first block of W. McAfee Court (subject was also charged with child endangerment because drugs and smoking devices were accessible to children in the home); a female, 48, at 1:15 p.m. April 22 in the 1800 block of Los Feliz Drive; a female, 45, at 6:30 p.m. April 23 at Janss and Moorpark roads (subject possessed a controlled substance); a female, 31, at 9:30 p.m. April 23 at Moorpark Road and the 101 Freeway; a female, 19, at 9:23 p.m. April 23 at Moorpark Road and the 101 Freeway (subject possessed a glass smoking device used for methamphetamine).

A female, 32, was arrested for possessing a stolen vehicle and a controlled substance and for being under the influence of drugs at 8:18 p.m. April 23 at Sheffield and Galsworthy streets.

A male, 31, was arrested for burglary, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a smoking device at 8:50 p.m. April 23 at Moorpark Road and the 101 Freeway.

Burglars attempted to steal goods from Macy’s at The Oaks mall around 2:18 p.m. April 25. One of the hooligans used force to elude a store employee.

An 18-year-old male vandalized two elevators and a restroom at Janss Marketplace and was discovered with vandalism tools. He was arrested at 6:30 p.m. April 27.

Two females stole 55 bras, valued at more than $400, from Victoria’s Secret at The Oaks between 4:52 and 4:58 p.m. April 24.

A home burglary occurred between April 22 and 28 in the 200 block of Sandberg Street. The stolen property was worth $4,535.

A home burglary was attempted around 10 p.m. April 23 in the 200 block of Garden Drive.

A grand theft occurred around 11 a.m. April 20 in the 4100 block of Erbes Road.

A grand theft occurred between April 9 and 23 in the 2000 block of Corporate Center Drive.

A thief stole goods from Vons at 2048 E. Avenida de Los Arboles around 6:30 p.m. April 27.

Property was stolen from a CVS Pharmacy at 1822 E. Avenida de Los Arboles between 4:18 and 4:27 p.m. April 24.

A petty theft occurred between 4:50 and 5:40 p.m. April 24 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 18, was cited for riding his bicycle under the influence of alcohol at 9:15 p.m. April 25 in the 200 block of Janss Road.

A male, 25, was arrested for walking on someone’s roof at 1:45 a.m. April 26 in the 1200 block of Whitecliff Road.

Property was stolen from an unlocked vehicle between Dec. 1 and April 17 in the 1600 block of Fremont Drive.

A vandal damaged a $200 vehicle window on April 22 or 23 in the 1800 block of Los Feliz Drive.

A motorcycle was vandalized between April 12 and 16 in the 800 block of Avenida de Las Flores.

Gang graffiti defaced Thousand Oaks High School on two occasions between April 27 and 28.

Graffiti vandalized property on April 26 or 27 in the first block of Dombey Circle.

Graffiti damaged property at several locations along Kenwood Street, Greenmeadow Avenue and Lynn Road on April 26 or 27.

Graffiti defaced property April 27 on a wall on the east side of Moorpark Road near Mayflower Street.

A juvenile committed a petty theft between 11:20 and 11:40 a.m. April 23 in the 300 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A window was broken on April 25 in the 100 block of Pepper Road.

A male, 28, was cited for possessing a small amount of marijuana while driving at 9:50 p.m. April 28 on Avenida de Los Arboles and Calle Bouganvilla.

Westlake/T.O.

A male, 22, and a female, 19, were arrested for being under the influence of controlled substances around 2:20 p.m. April 27 in the 2700 block of Queens Garden Court. The female subject possessed drug paraphernalia.

A female, 40, was arrested for grand theft at 1:05 p.m. April 26 in the 400 block of Haaland Drive.

A business was burglarized between April 23 and 26 in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.

A bicycle was stolen from a pickup truck bed in the parking lot of Total Woman Gym & Day Spa at 966 S. Westlake Boulevard between 3:45 and 4 p.m. April 26.
