John Reeves Caldwell John Reeves Caldwell PINNACLE IN SCOUTING— John Reeves Caldwell, 17, has earned the rank of Eagle, the highest in Scouting. For his project, he led a team of 27 volunteers to renovate boys’ lockers at his alma mater, Los Cerritos Middle School, a project that had been stopped because of budget cuts in Conejo Valley Unified School District. Reeves has been in Scouting since he was 6 years old. Reeves earned 34 merit badges and served in various capacities for Troop No. 761 in Thousand Oaks. He’s a junior honors student at Oaks Christian High School and is the son of Geary and Mary Caldwell of Thousand Oaks.
