ADMIRING A CARNIVORE —Thousand Oaks resident Emily Houston says hello to “Tito” a 6-year-old barn owl at the Ojai Raptor Center booth at the 12th annual Thousand Oaks Arbor/Earth Day festival at Conejo Creek Park. Last Saturday’s free event was presented by the city of Thousand Oaks and Conejo Recreation and Park District.
