Emily Anne Kinloch

“My mom calls me a fish,” says Redwood Club member Emily Anne Kinloch. The certified scuba diver wants to be a marine biologist, loves the beauty of coral and does math problems for fun. She makes a beeline for the club every day at lunch and after school.

“I just love it here. We have adventures every day, like making a home for ladybugs that we find in the field. The people here make me feel great.”

Her favorite moment? Acting as master of ceremonies for the intergalactic-themed “Youth of the Year” dinner, where she played half of a two-headed alien.

Youths of the Month at the Colina, Chaparral, Sequoia and Los Cerritos clubs are, respectively, Aileen Marquez, Sydney Geller, Hanna Groll and Karsyn Kapur.
