Oakbrook Bible Church has a passion for devotion

Services are Sundays at 10 a.m.

Oakbrook Bible Church is a nondenominational Bible church known for its commitment to doctrine and devotion.

The Rev. Jean-Paul Chenette, pastor, is a graduate of The Master’s Seminary. He teaches verse-by-verse through the Bible, affirming it to be sufficient for all of life’s problems.

Oakbrook has a passion for community service. The “Great Eats” food program collects food from local businesses, including overstock from Manna food bank, and distributes it daily to those in need, from retirees to day laborers. In addition, Oakbrook also provides clothes, toys and other resources without cost.

The leadership of Oakbrook receives no pay. They are bi-vocational, allowing Oakbrook to remain unencumbered financially and free to pour resources back into the community.

“We’re not building a church,” said Chenette. “We’re building Christ’s kingdom. Our good news is the Christ-centered gospel.”

Services are 10 a.m. Sundays.

The church is at 480 W. Gainsborough Road, Thousand Oaks. For more information, call (805) 512-9660 or go to www.oakbrookbible.org.
