The Westlake Village Junior Women’s Club will host Sipping in Springtime 2010 from 2 to 6 p.m. Sun., April 25 at the Gardens of the World, 2001 Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks.

The event, a fundraiser for charities in the Conejo Valley, will feature wine and food tastings from area restaurants and wineries, music selections from DJ Matt Graumann, and live music by Scott James and Christine MCruden.

The live and silent auctions will feature a seven-night stay at a Maui condo, Southwest Airlines tickets, a helicopter ride over Las Vegas, Exotics Racing, sports and celebrity memorabilia, fine art, jewelry, handbags, golf rounds, dining and tickets to a major network television show taping.

The event costs $45, which includes all food and wine tastings, a souvenir glass and entertaining. Parking at the Civic Arts Plaza is $8.
