Adat Elohim teacher earns recognition

Temple Adat Elohim’s award-winning Early Childhood Education Center teacher and Thousand Oaks resident Bobbie Match is this year’s recipient of the Builders of Jewish Education Hana Amir Scholarship Award.

This award is given to one teacher in the Los Angeles area and is designed to further that teacher’s continuing Jewish early childhood education path.

In 2005 Match received the organization’s Lainer Award for teacher of excellence in Jewish early childhood education.

The mission of BJE is to enhance quality, increase access and encourage participation in Jewish education throughout the Jewish communities of Greater Los Angeles.

For more information on the education center, call Batsheva Spector, director, at (805) 4976920. Temple Adat Elohim is at 2420 E. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks.
