Adoption info offered
Children’s Bureau is seeking families to consider adopting one of the 129,000 children in foster care.
The agency will have an information meeting for those interested in learning more from 7 to 8:15 p.m. Wed., March 31 at the Grant Brimhall/Thousand Oaks Library, 1401 E. Janss Road.
Children’s Bureau has finalized more than 1,000 adoptions for families across six counties in Southern California. Anyone interested in helping at-risk children find the stability and support a family can provide are encouraged to contact Children’s Bureau.
Qualifying families receive training, certification, benefits such as medical care for the children and 24-hour support to aid in the care of their foster or adoptive children.
