After the meeting of the Conejo Valley Unified school board on Tuesday evening, I spoke to Mr. Witt, president of the board of the new Bridges Charter School. I asked him how the new charter would be different from the existing program at Conejo Elementary School.

His only reply, which was also heard by other people, was “recess.”

When I questioned him further his reply was, “It will be different. We will be together.”

Is this why Conejo Valley Unified School District is going to have to spend close to a million dollars at a site to house the Bridges Charter School that was approved by the Ventura County School Board of Education?
