The Ms. Senior Conejo Valley Preliminary Pageant will take place at 1:30 p.m. Sun., May 23 at the Goebel Senior Adult Center, 1385 E. Janss Road, Thousand Oaks. 

The audience admission is $5. Women who are age 60 and up and are American citizens will compete for the title of Ms. Senior Conejo Valley. The top three finalists will advance to the Ms. Senior California Pageant in August.

The women will be judged on personal interview, philosophy of life, formal attire and talent.

Ms. Senior California goes to Atlantic City to compete in the Ms. Senior America Pageant in October. All expenses will be paid.

There is a one-time entry fee of $100. The pageant is a nonprofit organization.
