The Thousand Oaks Philharmonic will have open auditions to fill the remaining soloist positions for the 2010 season starting at 2 p.m. Sun., March 21 at the recital hall in the Paseo Marketplace, 3749 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Westlake Village.

The auditions are open to student vocal and instrumental performers from the greater Ventura County area, including Westlake Village. Any piece for instrument or voice and orchestra is acceptable for the audition. Auditions will be by appointment only

Students register by sending an application to tophilharmonic @gmail.com.

Applications must include name, instrument, postal and e-mail addresses, phone, age, school attended and music teacher. Music teachers can register students as well. Each audition requires a $30 registration fee. Applications are due by March 15.
