A THREESOME OF VOLUNTEERS–Westlake High School students and members of the Key Club, from left, Matt Weitz, Colton Hoffmans and Sean Stephens, all 16-year-old juniors, distribute beads and masks at the 18th annual Mardi Gras Ball fundraiser at Hyatt Westlake Plaza. Last Saturday’s event included live and silent auctions, live music, a champagne reception, dinner and dancing. Proceeds went to Community Conscience, the Under One Roof building in Thousand Oaks which provides low- or no-cost rent for social service agencies. See related photo on page 14.
