The Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza Foundation will present actor Hal Holbrook in the one-man show “Mark Twain Tonight! at 8 p.m. Fri., March 19 at the Fred Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.

Holbrook is celebrating the 55th year of the Tony-winning show gleaned from Mark Twain’s writings.

Holbrook has appeared in nearly 40 films.

His most recent role won him an Academy Award nomination for the 2007 film “Into the Wild.” 

Last year he starred in the award-winning film “That Evening Sun.” 

His television credits include several Emmy-winning performances, including “North and South” and “The Pueblo Incident.”
