A male, 41, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at 4:33 a.m. Feb. 5 at Camino Dos Rios and Broadbeck Road.

A male, 19, was arrested for possessing a shuriken, an illegal weapon, at 12:15 p.m. Feb. 11 at Capitan and Cypress streets.

A male, 18, was arrested for grand theft at 7:55 a.m. Feb. 10 in the 700 block of Cayo Grande Court.

A home burglary occurred between 7:20 and 9 a.m. Feb. 8 in the 600 block of N. Wendy Drive.

A vandal damaged and took off part of a vehicle on Feb. 7 or 8 in the 4700 block of Via Del Rancho.

A vehicle break-in occurred on Feb. 2 or 3 in the first block of San Antonio Street.

Thousand Oaks

A 22-year-old male possessed a controlled substance for sale, marijuana for sale and drug paraphernalia and was under the influence of a controlled substance. He was arrested at 6:25 p.m. Feb. 5 in the 1400 block of Suffolk Avenue.

A male, 25, was arrested for the possession of a controlled substance to be transported and sold at 11:36 a.m. Feb. 8 in the first block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A male, 55, was arrested for possessing a firearm and a note demanding something at 12:17 p.m. Feb. 8 in the 2600 block of Townsgate Road. The subject also changed the license plates of his vehicle in an attempt to conceal his identity.

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 30, at 1:05 a.m. Feb. 8 at the northbound 101 Freeway and Lynn Road; a female, 18, at 11:21 p.m. Feb. 9 at Janss and Montgomery roads; a male, 40, at 3:20 p.m. Feb. 1 at Conejo School Road and Willow Lane.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a female, 18, at 11:20 a.m. Feb. 9 in the 1300 block of Calle Balsa (subject also resisted police); a male, 24, at 4:25 p.m. Feb. 8 in the 1700 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

A female, 39, committed an identity theft on Sept. 22 in the 1100 block of Calle Tulipan, and she was arrested on Feb. 9 in Ventura.

A 21-year-old male was cited for shoplifting merchandise from J.C. Penney at 3:25 p.m. Feb. 7 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A female, 49, was cited for petty theft at Macy’s in The Oaks mall at 3:10 p.m. Feb. 10.

A home burglary occurred between 10:45 a.m. and 3 p.m. Feb. 8 in the first block of W. Olsen Road.

Property was damaged between 8:30 and 9 p.m. Feb. 9 at Moorpark Road and Mayflower Street.

For committing commercial burglaries in the 2700 block of Teller Road in Newbury Park on Jan. 25, a male, 29, was arrested at 8:40 a.m. Feb. 10 in the 500 block of Avenida del Platino.

A burglar broke into a business and stole property valued at $12,400 between Feb. 6 and 8 in the 1200 block of La Venta Drive. An attempt was made to burglarize another business.

Vehicle break-ins occurred at the following locations: on Feb. 10 or 11 in the 1600 block of Mendocino Lane (unlocked); on Feb. 9 or 10 in the 2300 block of Fountain Crest Lane; on Feb. 10 in the 700 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; between 5:45 and 8 p.m. Feb. 10 in the 400 block of E. Wilbur Road; on Feb. 8 or 9 in the 300 block of Hodencamp Road; between 7:30 and 7:45 a.m. Feb. 7 in the 400 block of W. Gainsborough Road; between Feb. 6 and 8 in the 1300 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard (multiple vehicles); on Feb. 6 or 7 along La Granada Drive.

A vehicle window was broken on Feb. 10 in the 300 block of Wilbur Road.

A vehicle was vandalized on Feb. 8 along Moorpark Road, between Mayflower Street and Wilbur Road.

Auto parts were stolen between Feb. 6 and 8 in the 3000 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A shoplifter stole items from Big 5 Sporting Goods store at 43 W. Thousand Oaks Blvd. around 6:25 p.m. Feb. 7.

A burglar broke into a locked storage container between Feb. 4 and 10 in the 1400 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 53, was cited for violating his probation term of staying away from 75 S. Rancho Road at 11:57 a.m. Feb. 11.

A female, 41, was arrested for being drunk in public at 6:55 p.m. Feb. 10 at Moorpark and Wilbur roads.

A male, 40, was cited for drinking vodka in public at 11:45 a.m. Feb. 10 in the 100 block of S. Oak View Drive.

A grand theft occurred on Jan. 28 or 29 in the 100 block of Promenade Way. Another grand theft occurred on Feb. 6 in the same block.

A business was burglarized between 5:45 and 6:25 p.m. Feb. 8 in the 900 block of S. Westlake Boulevard.
