Parks is doing a fine job as our county supervisor
Linda Parks is a Thousand Oaks resident and is running for reelection for the Ventura County Board of Supervisors, a job that she’s well suited for.
She shows fiscal restraint while being strong on crime prevention and enforcement. She has a wide base of support as well as good rapport with her fellow supervisors, which enables the board to get a lot accomplished.
Audra Strickland has a broken compass that’s pointing in many directions without a clue as to where she’s going. Her term limit is up in the state Assembly, and she’s looked into various positions to run for. She was found to be unqualified to run for county treasurer.
If she challenges Parks, she’ll have to move to meet residency requirements.
Strickland recently denied knowledge of or having anything to do with a push poll survey which gave slanted and misinformation regarding Parks and favored Strickland.
Is this denial believable?
Some are pointing to the Central Republican Committee, which has among its members Audra’s mother-in-law and a businessman who does million dollar business with the Stricklands.
How many other Republicans have things done for them when they don’t even live in the district which the election is for and it’s a nonpartisan election?
Linda Parks is a Republican.
Did they give her any funds? No. If they’re responsible for the slime push poll against Linda Parks, then they seem to have reduced themselves to be nothing more than a Strickland slush fund. They shouldn’t be entitled to salaries that are taken from public funds.
The Republican Central Committee and Audra Strickland need to get out of the murky water, as they’ve taken the wrong path. The Republican Central Committee needs to work on how to make themselves into a legitimate organization to provide balance and fairness to all candidates in order to receive public donations.
Linda Parks is on the right path. Please join me and vote for Linda Parks for reelection as our Ventura County supervisor.
