Angered by Strickland’s tactics

After reading the article in the Acorn about Audra Strickland’s search-and-destroy mission for finding a new job and seeing her polling survey on voteforparks .com, I’m angered enough to write a letter.

Attack-dog politics has now shown its ugly head in a local campaign for 2010. It’s disturbing to see the lies, untruths and personal attacks that Audra Strickland’s political camp has forced upon the public.

Why would someone not run in a district they live in, then move their family to run in another district when both positions are open in the respective districts?

Could it be Republican camaraderie or political revenge from the folks in 2nd District who asked Audra to consider running against Linda Parks?

The Strickland camp said in the paper that Audra wasn’t aware of the polling survey.

What, are you kidding me–– is this Comedy Central? Maybe her husband made it up.

Speaking of the Strickland camp, maybe they should disclose the fact to Audra that the Fair Political Practices Commission has fined her for failing to disclose that she accepted a gift from a lobbying group.

Messages to Audra Strickland:

•Stay in Moorpark.

•You weren’t qualified for the treasurer-tax collector job, so get over it.

Go to voteforparks.com to form your own opinion of this survey from a carpetbagger.

I apologize if I offended anyone, but I disapprove of negative campaigning, and after the Supreme Court ruling of Jan. 21, we’ll see much more campaign advertising for candidates with the most money.
