The Friends of the Civic Arts Plaza is hosting training for new volunteers.The training program consists of two four-hour sessions, from 6 to 9:30 p.m. Wed., Feb. 18 and from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sat., Feb. 21 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd. Trainees are required to attend both sessions to become an usher. 

Volunteers pay $15 a year to be a “friend” or $25 as a “patron.” They can participate in various opportunities. For details, leave a message at (805) 449-2741.
