Newbury Park

A robbery occurred around 5:30 p.m. Jan. 11 in the 500 block of N. Ventu Park Road.

A male, 45, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at 3:30 a.m. Jan. 9 in the 3100 block of Theresa Drive.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a female, 45, at 12:40 p.m. Jan. 13 in the 100 block of Shamrock Court; a male, 52, at 11:50 a.m. Jan. 9 on Lynn Road, east of Meadowcrest Street (subject also possessed drug paraphernalia).

A 24-year-old female employee of Kohl’s at 1960 Newbury Road reimbursed her credit card for more than $700 in merchandise she had purchased but never returned. The subject was arrested for grand theft at 5:05 p.m. Jan. 11.

A 23-year-old male stole a pair of jeans from Kohl’s at 1960 Newbury Road around 1:30 p.m. Dec. 19. He was arrested on Jan. 14 in Ventura.

A male, 26, was arrested for shoplifting $127 in goods from Home Depot at 2745 Teller Road at 3:28 p.m. Jan. 12.

A male, 20, was cited for breaking a window at 3:20 p.m. Jan. 13 in the 3000 block of Ranger Court.

For illegally camping and disobeying police orders, a 45year-old male was arrested at 3:15 p.m. Jan. 10 at Via Andrea and Lynn Road.

A male, 24, was arrested for receiving stolen property at 3 p.m. Jan. 8 in the 500 block of Los Vientos Place.

A wallet was stolen between 11 a.m. and noon Jan. 8 in the 2300 block of Borchard Road.

A grand theft occurred between noon and 2 p.m. Jan. 9 in the 2300 block of Michael Drive.

Property was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Jan. 11 or 12 in the 3900 block of Camphor Avenue.

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: a male, 24, at 2:05 a.m. Jan. 14 at The Oaks mall; a male, 29, at 2:15 a.m. Jan. 12 at Moorpark Road and Avenida de Los Arboles; a male, 54, at 1:10 a.m. Jan. 9 at Westlake Boulevard and Hillcrest Road; a male, 31, at 2:58 a.m. Jan. 9 at the northbound 23 Freeway and Avenida de Los Arboles; a male, 53, at 5:02 p.m. Jan. 9 along Janss Road, west of the 23 Freeway; a male, 54, at 9:40 a.m. Jan. 10 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Calle Pensamiento; a male, 33, at 11:15 p.m. Jan. 10 at Windsor Drive and Whitecliff Road; a male, 26, at 11:58 p.m. Jan. 14 at Lynn Road and Camino Dos Rios.

A female, 39, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance at 3:55 p.m. Jan. 9 in the 100 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

A 28-year-old male was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, resisting arrest and vandalism at 11 p.m. Jan. 9 in the 400 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

A male, 24, was arrested for battering his girlfriend on Jan. 14 in the 700 block of Camino Santos Reyes. The crime occurred New Year’s Eve in Oak Park.

A female, 46, committed forgery, burglary and attempted to obtain a controlled substance on Dec. 15 in the 600 block of E. Janss Road. She was arrested Jan. 13 in Ventura.

A female, 23, stole a motorcycle helmet around 12:30 a.m. Jan. 12 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road.

A female, 19, was cited for shoplifting at 5:15 p.m. Jan. 9 in the 300 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A female, 27, was cited for disobeying a restraining order on Dec. 30 at the East County Sheriff’s Station.

Vehicle break-ins occurred at the following locations: on Jan. 11 or 12 in the 1200 block of Rotella Street (unlocked); between 9 and 10 a.m. Jan. 14 at Wildwood Park at Avenida de Los Arboles and Big Sky Drive (two incidents); between 10:30 and 11:30 p.m. Jan. 14 in the 1800 block of El Monte Drive (unlocked); between 8:15 and 8:35 p.m. Jan. 12 in the 200 block of Triunfo Canyon Road (nine vehicles); on Jan. 14 in the 3200 block of S. Campus Drive (unlocked); on Jan. 9 or 10 at Hillcrest Park Apartments’ back parking lot (unlocked); between 1 and 1:35 p.m. Jan. 7 in the 1300 block of Avenida de Las Flores (unlocked).

A $350 vehicle windshield was damaged on Jan. 9 or 10 in the 4200 block of Minnesota Drive.

A juvenile vandalized a vehicle (more than $400 in damage) between 8:56 and 9:35 p.m. Jan. 10 along Los Feliz Drive, east of Beyer Lane.

Property valued at more than $12,500 was stolen from a home between Dec. 13 and 15 in the 5300 block of Via Rincon.

A home was burglarized between 9 and 10:57 a.m. Jan. 14 in the 700 block of Spalding Street.

A burglary was attempted at Macy’s at The Oaks mall around 11:20 a.m. Jan. 9.

Gang graffiti defaced a wall between Nov. 24 and 27 in the 1700 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles. The crime was recently reported.

Property was vandalized with graffiti on Jan. 9 or 10 in the 800 block of Falmouth Street.

A door lock was damaged with paper clip fragments on Jan. 12 or 13 in the 2200 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Three incidents of petty theft occurred on Jan. 12 in the 1500 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Someone made annoying telephone calls and called emergency vehicles to a home in the 300 block of Flittner Circle on Jan. 7 and 8.

A petty theft occurred on Jan. 8 or 9 in the 2200 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A shoplifting occurred around 9:10 p.m. Jan. 20 in the 200 block of Hampshire Road.

Westlake/T.O.

A female, 30, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:35 a.m. Jan. 10 along Westlake Boulevard, just north of Townsgate Road.

A student threatened a Westlake High School teacher between 12:30 and 1 p.m. Jan. 8. In another report, a student brought a knife onto the WHS campus on Jan. 11.

A petty theft occurred between 11:22 and 11:25 a.m. Jan. 9 in the 800 block of Hampshire Road.

A vehicle was vandalized ($250 in damage) between Jan. 8 and 11 along La Venta Drive, south of Agoura Road.
