The Newbury Park High girls’ basketball squad has teamed with the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association to support breast cancer awareness.

During the Panthers’ home game against Thousand Oaks on Friday night, players will wear pink to support the cause. Fans are also encouraged to wear pink.

Newbury Park will donate $1 from each ticket sold to the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund.

Tipoff is slated for 7 p.m.
