The Conejo Players Theatre will present the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” Jan. 22 through Feb. 20 at the theater, 351 S. Moorpark Road, Thousand Oaks.

Showtimes are 8 p.m. Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays.

In this retelling of a Biblical story, Joseph is his father’s favorite child and is given a multicolored coat, which makes his 11 brothers jealous.

The brothers sell Joseph into slavery and return home with his bloodied coat, telling their father of Joseph’s “death.”  Joseph is purchased by Potiphar, the Egyptian ruler, and works in the palace. Joseph’s ability to interpret dreams saves the kingdom and reunites him with his brothers.

Tickets are $20 Thursdays, $22 Fridays and Sundays, and $24 Saturdays and opening night.
