WENDY PIERRO/Acorn Newspapers JUST IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS– Sycamore Canyon School student Kennedy Copeland, 10, helps pack a box that will be sent to Marine Corps servicemen and women stationed in Afghanistan. Thirty-five fifth-graders made snowflake cards and wrote letters to veterans, telling them about their own family holiday traditions. The students then packed boxes with the things they had made, toiletries, books and snacks.
