Squirrel of the Month


A NEW CATEGORY?– Ariana Barton,16, and her family go to Conejo Creek Park almost every Sunday to feed the ducks and squirrels. Ariana says, “We managed to snap this great shot of a squirrel posing for us with a piece of bread before retreating to its den between the rocks. I was hoping it might get published in the newspaper.” Yes, we’ll even print photos of ground squirrels. And we’ll do another SOTM next week for one we never ran in November.
