Lighthouse Career Transition Workshop will be presented from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sat., Jan. 9 at Lighthouse Church, 3353 Old Conejo Road, Newbury Park.

The program is free and includes a complimentary continental breakfast and lunch and a workbook.

Human resource professionals specialized in recruitment and staffing will teach job-hunting strategies.

Topics include using the Internet for job searches, career search strategies, resume writing, and interviewing and negotiating techniques.

The workshop is for those who are unemployed, underemployed or seeking new employment. The workshop will include prayer and a Bible-based message. Participants can network and exchange information about possible employment. Dress code is casual.

Participants can bring or email a resume. Recruiters will be on site to review resumes and make suggestions.

The workshop is limited to the first 40 registrants. Register by email to CTW@lighthousechurch .org or sign up at the church lobby Information Center. If registration is full, a waiting list will be started for the Feb. 6 workshop.
