The Rev. Jim Clarke at St. John’s Seminary in Camarillo will present a free Advent Day of Recollection from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sat., Dec. 5 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church, 5801 Kanan Road, Westlake Village.

Clarke will use stories, analogies and metaphors to provide a “spiritual oasis” and help prepare participants for Christmas.

The event will provide a lunch break. Beverages and snacks will be provided, but participants need to bring their own sack lunch.
