New Hampton Inn & Suites has opened at Thousand Oaks Marketplace at Ventu Park and Hillcrest roads in Newbury Park. The inn’s opening marks the completion of Phase 1 of the marketplace, which is being developed by NewMark Merrill Companies.

The hotel is at 510 N. Ventu Park Road and is owned and operated by OTO Development LLC.

New Hampton Inn & Suites offers a breakfast buffet, free Wi-Fi and high-speed Internet access, pool and exercise room.

NewMark Merrill began development of the marketplace in August 2008 after purchasing the 155,000-square-foot property, which had previously been the site of a Home Depot. In addition to the hotel, the marketplace includes a 13,000square-foot Walgreens Pharmacy.

The second phase of construction will add 74,466 square feet of retail space.
