Newbury Park

The following subjects were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs: a male, 23, at 2:35 a.m. Nov. 13 at Capitan Street and Marjori Avenue; a female, 41, at 11:42 p.m. Nov. 6 at Kimber Drive and Dewey Avenue.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a female, 19, at 2:42 p.m. Nov. 6 at Lynn Road and Boxthorn Street; a male, 20, at 8:12 p.m. Nov. 5 in the 3900 block of Northland Street (subject was also charged with vandalism and resisting arrest).

A 57-year-old male battered and injured his wife around 4:40 p.m. Nov. 12 in the first block of Edgar Court.

A home was burglarized between Nov. 6 and 8 in the 300 block of Mesa Avenue.

A male, 21, was arrested for possessing burglary tools and stolen property from multiple vehicles at 7:15 p.m. Nov. 12 in the first block of Amgen Center Drive.

A male, 24, was caught dumping commercial quantity of waste into the sewer system around 11 a.m. Nov. 7 at Via Rincon and Via Patricia.

A $300 laptop computer was stolen on Nov. 11 or 12 in the 3700 block of Old Conejo Road.

A shoplifter stole items from Vons at 2120 Newbury Road twice on Nov. 6.

Newbury Park Bicycle Shop was burglarized between 5:20 and 5:28 p.m. Nov. 9.

Grand thefts occurred on the following dates and places: between 4:10 and 4:20 p.m. Nov. 9 in the 500 block of Kalinda Place; between Nov. 7 and 9 in the 4500 block of Via Del Rancho; between 4:45 and 5:15 p.m. Nov. 6 in the 3700 block of Teller Road.

A vehicle was vandalized ($350 in damage) between 12:30 and 4:30 p.m. Nov. 6 in the 2100 block of Corporate Center Drive.

A thief entered vehicles with the intent to steal property on Nov. 7 or 8 at three locations in the 2100 block of W. Palos Court.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: between 1:15 and 4 p.m. Nov. 12 at Rancho Conejo Boulevard and Amgen Center Drive; Nov. 10 or 11 in the 3400 block of Cary Court; Nov. 9 or 10 in the first block of E. Kelley Road; Nov. 9 or 10 in the 3300 block of Holloway Street; Nov. 9 or 10 in the 1000 block of Paseo Santa Monica; Nov. 5 or 6 in the 3400 block of Gloria Drive; Aug. 26 or 27 in the first block of Via Ricardo (unlocked, recently reported); around 4:30 a.m. Nov. 8 in the 1900 block of Oracle Court (unlocked); Nov. 7 or 8 in the 2100 block of Palos Court (unlocked); Nov. 7 or 8 in the 1900 block of Oracle Court (unlocked); Nov. 5 or 6 in the 600 block of Gerst Drive.

A male, 44, was cited for possessing a small amount of marijuana at 10:40 a.m. Nov. 4 at Hillcrest Drive and Rancho Conejo Boulevard.

A male, 32, was cited for drinking alcohol in public at 6:25 p.m. Nov. 6 in the 500 block of Avenida de La Plata.

Thousand Oaks

A female, 43, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at 12:18 a.m. Nov. 6 at Thousand Oaks Boulevard and Hampshire Road.

A male, 34, was cited for riding a bicycle under the influence of alcohol at midnight Nov. 12 in the 200 block of W. Janss Road.

For being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: a male, 50, at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 11 in the 1300 block of Calle Tulipan (subject also possessed methamphetamines); a female, 43, at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 11 in the 1300 block of Calle Tulipan (subject possessed a glass smoking pipe); a male, 43, at 2:30 p.m. Nov. 11 in the 1300 block of Calle Tulipan.

For stealing someone’s identity and making fraudulent charges in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive on Oct. 16, a female, 18, was arrested Nov. 11 at the East County Sheriff’s Station.

A male, 35, was arrested for grand theft, burglary and giving false information to police at 2:40 p.m. Nov. 9 in the 2000 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

A male, 18, hit someone on the head with a glass object and then stole that person’s hat around 7 p.m. Nov. 6 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A male, 20, was arrested for possessing Xanax pills without a prescription at 3 a.m. Nov. 7 at Janss Road and Triangle Street.

A female, 30, was cited for petty theft at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 12 in the 800 block of Brush Hill Road.

A female, 60, was cited for stealing merchandise at 7 p.m. Nov. 6 in the 3200 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A male, 48, was arrested for shoplifting at 11:50 a.m. Nov. 5 in the 3900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

A male, 43, stole property from a garage around noon on Nov. 10 in the 4300 block of Erbes Road.

A male, 30, was arrested for lying to police about his identity at 5:15 p.m. Nov. 9 in an alley behind Roller Dome in the 900 block of Avenida de Los Arboles.

A female, 52, was arrested for violating a court order at 12:45 p.m. Nov. 9 in the 300 block of Rolling Oaks Drive.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Nov. 10 or 11 in the 700 block of Calle Mandarinas (unlocked); Nov. 8 or 9 in the 1300 block of Newport Circle ($1,360 in electronics stolen); Nov. 8 or 9 in the 2400 block of W. Hillcrest Drive; Nov. 4 in the 1000 block of S. Westlake Boulevard; Nov. 6 in the 3800 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard; between 9 and 10 a.m. Nov. 7 in the 2400 block of Willow Lane (purse stolen); between 9 and 11:20 a.m. Nov. 7 in the 2400 block of Willow Lane (purse stolen); between 9:30 and 11:15 a.m. Nov. 7 in the 2700 block of Townsgate Road; Nov. 8 in the 2800 block of Whiteridge Place.

A thief stole all 18 flags from the greens of Los Robles Golf Course on Nov. 6 or 7.

A home was burglarized between 9:40 and 11:50 a.m. Nov. 5 in the 200 block of Venado Avenue.

Graffiti defaced property ($200 in damage) on Nov. 10 or 11 in the 800 block of Warwick Street.

Paint covered a front door on Nov. 7 or 8 in the 3100 block of W. Sierra Drive.

Property was stolen from Ralphs grocery at 1500 N. Moorpark Road between 5:50 and 6:25 p.m. Nov. 11.

Gardening equipment was stolen from a vehicle bed on Nov. 5 or 6 in the 600 block of Hampshire Road.

A vandal threw a rock and broke a $200 window between 2 and 4 a.m. Nov. 8 in the 2800 block of Regina Avenue.

A grand theft occurred on Nov. 1 or 2 in the 1500 block of Calle Hondanada. A similar crime occurred on Oct. 26 at Sprucewood and Smoke Tree avenues.

A male, 48, was cited for selling goods without a permit at 6:30 Nov. 6 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Avenida de Las Plantas.

The following subjects were arrested for being drunk in public: a male, 38, at 12:20 p.m. Nov. 11 at Moorpark Road and Conejo Valley Plaza; a male, 43, at 4:05 p.m. Nov. 11 in the 900 block of Avenida de Los Arboles; a male, 23, at 1:57 a.m. Nov. 8 at Janss Marketplace (subject also possessed a small amount of marijuana); a male, 43, at 2:10 p.m. Nov. 8 in the 1100 block of Avenida de Los Arboles.

A male, 19, was cited for possessing a small amount of marijuana at 12:10 p.m. Nov. 10 at Hodencamp Drive and Hillcrest Drive.

Westlake/T.O.

A male, 52, set fire to his desk at noon on Nov. 6 in an alley behind the 800 block of Via Colinas.

A burglar broke into a vehicle and stole a girl’s backpack on the morning of Oct. 8 in the 1400 block of Aldercreek Place.

A grand theft occurred on June 21 in the 2800 block of Agoura Road. The crime was recently reported.
