Students can complete bachelor’s degrees at Ventura College
Building on the success of a similar offering at Moorpark College, the University of La Verne is accepting applications from students who wish to complete their bachelor’s degrees on the Ventura College campus.
Three majors—business administration, child development and liberal studies—will be offered. Upon completion all requirements, University of La Verne will award a bachelor’s degree without the student having to leave the Ventura College campus.
The classes are designed for working students or students who desire accelerated degree completion. Courses will be offered in the evenings on an accelerated semester calendar.
La Verne students at Ventura College will have a streamlined transfer and admission process, opportunity for concurrent enrollment, one-on-one admission and academic advising, and other academic and student services, all provided by the university. The university has also expanded its financial aid offerings.
Students will complete 44 junior- and senior-level units through La Verne. Students may complete lower-division classes through Ventura College.
Classes will be taught and administered by the faculty and staff of La Verne’s Ventura County Campus in Oxnard, supported by the university’s main campus in La Verne.
