Banker promoted to executive vice president

Jeff Paul Jeff Paul Jeff Paul has been promoted to executive vice president of community banking for Rabobank, according to CEO Ronald Blok.

As head of community banking, Paul will oversee the bank’s commercial, retail, marketing and Community Reinvestment Act activities for the bank, which has 10 branches in Ventura County, including one in Westlake Village and in Moorpark.

“Jeff is one of the most experienced and respected community bankers in the state,” said Blok. “He will carry on Rabobank’s tradition of local decision-making and community involvement and help us be the premier community bank in California.”

A banker for 31 years, Paul previously served as regional president for the bank’s South Central Coast region, stretching from Westlake Village north to the Santa Ynez Valley. Before joining Rabobank, he was an executive with City National Bank. He began his banking career with Bank of A. Levy.

Rabobank has opened a dozen branches in California in the last year, including the one in Moorpark, and now has 91 branches and 15 financial service centers from Sacramento to the Imperial Valley.
