WINNERS—Area youths were a hit on the links at Westlake G.C. Young golfers brought their clubs and swung for the greens at Westlake Golf Course’s 22nd annual club championships.

About 160 junior golfers ages 8-17 from Westlake Village, Thousand Oaks, Agoura, Oak Park, Simi Valley, Calabasas, Newbury Park and Camarillo participated in the event.

For girls 8-11, Cameron Sage dominated her bracket with a round of 32.

Jo Jo Sottile won the girls’ 1217 bracket in a suddendeath playoff with a round of 40.

Boys’ winners were Harrison Jenkins (44 score, 8-year-olds); Jack Robi (34 score, 9-10); Grant Ferguson, Brandon Resnick and Aidan Dolan (41 score, three-way tie, 11-12); Billy Robi (78 score, 13, in sudden-death); and Alex Kim (71 score, 14-17, in sudden-death).
