Newbury Park

A male, 24, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at 2:11 a.m. Aug. 19 at Lynn Road and Greenmeadow Drive.

On suspicion of being under the influence of controlled substances, the following subjects were arrested: A male, 45, at 1:55 p.m. Aug. 19 in the 1200 block of Newbury Road (subject allegedly possessed a smoking device); a male, 23, at 10:22 p.m. Aug. 19 in the 3300 block of Peppermint Street (subject allegedly possessed drug paraphernalia); a male, 44, at 3 p.m. Aug. 19 in the 1200 block of Newbury Road (subject allegedly possessed two glass smoking pipes); a male, 44, at 10:30 p.m. Aug. 14 in the 1200 block of Newbury Road (subject allegedly possessed 0.7 grams of methamphetamine and a glass smoking pipe); a female, 51, at 12:05 p.m. Aug. 13 in the 600 block of Avenida de La Plata; and a male, 23, at 4:50 p.m. Aug. 15 at Camino Dos Rios and Broadbeck Drive.

A female, 21, and a male, 31, were arrested and charged with committing domestic battery causing injuries at 11:15 p.m. Aug. 19 in the 1800 block of W. Hillcrest Drive. The male allegedly grabbed the female subject in the face and shoved her to the ground. The female allegedly bit the male and punched him in the head.

A male, 23, was cited on suspicion of stealing a pair of shoes at 8:40 p.m. Aug. 15 in the 1900 block of Newbury road.

For allegedly committing an armed robbery on Jan. 10 in the 1500 block of Newbury Road, a male, 25, was arrested Aug. 13 in Santa Paula.

Two males, 42 and 41, allegedly stole water and were cited for petty theft between 8:30 and 9 a.m. Aug 20 at Borchard Road and the 101 Freeway.

A female, 40, was cited for allegedly selling food from a cart without a license at 5:20 p.m. Aug. 14 along Avenida de La Plata.

Two males, 19 and 18, were arrested and charged with burglary at 9:45 a.m. Aug. 16 in the 600 block of Avenida del Platino. The crime allegedly occurred in the 1500 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Tires and wheels valued at $1,430 were stolen from a vehicle on Aug. 13 in the 1900 block of Oracle Court.

A vehicle break-in occurred on Aug. 12 in the 200 block of Mesa Avenue.

Gang graffiti was drawn on a computer keyboard at the Newbury Park Library on Borchard Road on Aug. 11 or 12.

Grand thefts occurred between Aug. 6 and 18 in the 1300 block of Lawrence Drive and between Aug. 11 and 13 in the 700 block of Pamela Wood Street.

On suspicion of being drunk in public, a male, 35, was arrested at 11:55 p.m. Aug. 19 in the 700 block of N. Wendy Drive. A male, 23, was arrested on the same charge at 2:15 a.m. Aug. 14 in the 1700 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

The following subjects were cited for allegedly drinking alcohol in public: Four males, between the ages of 23 and 40, at a public swimming pool at 4:25 p.m. Aug. 15 in the 1700 block of Calle Diamonte; a male, 46, at 6:10 p.m. Aug. 14 in the 1600 block of Calle Zafiro; and a male, 52, at 6:40 p.m. Aug. 14 in the 900 block of N. Ventu Park Road.

The following subjects were arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the times, dates and places indicated: A male, 19, at 2:15 p.m. Aug. 19 at Avenida de Los Arboles and Calle Abdul; a female, 32, at 11:36 p.m. Aug. 13 in the 2900 block of Townsgate Road; a male, 27, at 1:02 a.m. Aug. 15 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road; a male, 25, at 3:10 a.m. Aug. 15 at the Woodside Community security gate on Sunset Hills Boulevard; and a male, 40, at 5:14 p.m. Aug. 13 in the 200 block of N. Moorpark Road (subject allegedly was involved in a traffic collision and possessed marijuana).

A male, 48, was arrested on suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 5:20 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 2900 block of Bear River Circle.

A male, 28, was arrested and charged with domestic violence at 8 p.m. Aug. 16 in the 1000 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

For allegedly committing battery causing injury, a male, 22, was arrested at 8:20 p.m. Aug. 19 at Conejo School Road and Chiquita Lane.

A male, 76, was cited for allegedly committing battery at 8:55 p.m. Aug. 15 in the 200 block of Sequoia Court.

A female, 38, was arrested on allegations of forgery and credit card fraud on Aug. 20 at East County Sheriff’s Station.

A male, 26, was arrested and charged with obstructing justice at 4:30 a.m. Aug. 13 at the Jack in the Box on Moorpark Road.

Two males, 55 and 42, were arrested for allegedly fighting each other at a gas station at 5:38 p.m. Aug. 14 in the 600 block of N. Moorpark Road.

On suspicion of violating a domestic violence restraining order, a male, 41, was arrested at 6:25 p.m. Aug. 20 in the 700 block of Mondego Place.

A male, 18, was arrested and charged with possessing stolen property at 10 a.m. Aug. 13 at the south end of Wynn Court.

Charged with committing a petty theft, a male, 48, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 16 in the 2000 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

A female, 28, was cited for allegedly shoplifting from Vons in N. Moorpark Road at 8:55 p.m. Aug. 11.

Vehicle break-ins occurred on the following dates and places: Between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. Aug. 18 at the Spectrum Club at 2400 Willow Lane; on Aug. 16 or 17 at Conejo Canyon Court and Vista Wood Circle (two unlocked vehicles); between 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. Aug. 7 in the 2400 block of Willow Lane; between 6:50 and 7:50 p.m. Aug. 18 in the 2400 block of Willow Lane; between 4:50 and 6:40 p.m. Aug. 14 in the 100 block of Promenade Way; and between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. Aug. 5 along Avenida de Las Flores.

A copper pipe and water meter were stolen between July 1 and Aug. 14 in the 200 block of Lombard Street.

Grand thefts occurred on Aug. 19 or 20 in the first block of E. Hillcrest Drive and between 1:30 and 2:30 p.m. Aug. 13 in the 200 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A thief stole a wallet and attempted to use a card at an ATM machine between 12:49 and 12:57 p.m. Aug. 15 in the 700 block of N. Moorpark Road.

Shoplifting occurred at Ralphs on Moorpark Road between 10 and 10:45 a.m. Aug. 15.

A burglar smashed a window and stole cash from a business between 2:40 and 2:45 a.m. Aug. 17 in the 1600 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard.

Petty theft occurred between 12:45 and 1:15 p.m. Aug. 14 in the 1100 block of Lindero Canyon Road.

Petty theft ($200 loss) occurred around 2:40 p.m. Aug. 15 in the 1700 block of E. Avenida de Los Arboles.

Petty theft occurred between Aug. 15 and 17 in the 500 block of Gainsborough Road.

Someone stole more than $400 in a fraudulent mortgage transaction between July 29 and Aug. 3 in the 1300 block of E. Hillcrest Drive.

Gang graffiti resulted in property damage between Aug. 7 and 19 in the 100 block of W. Hillcrest Drive.

A burglar stole property at Park Oaks Elementary School between June 11 and Aug. 19.

Vandals caused $1,000 in damage to a vacant home on Aug. 14 in the 800 block of Calle Catalpa.

Gardening equipment was stolen from a pickup truck in The Oaks mall parking lot around 10 a.m. Aug. 14.

Landscaping equipment was stolen from an unsecured van between 11:35 a.m. and 1 p.m. Aug. 14 in the 2100 block of Upper Ranch Road.

For allegedly selling food without a permit, a male, 64, was cited at 11:45 a.m. Aug. 20 at Royal Oaks Drive and Hampshire Road.

On suspicion of being drunk in public, the following subjects were arrested: a male, 48, at 7:15 p.m. Aug. 20 in the 900 block of E. Thousand Oaks Boulevard; a male, 40, at 7:02 a.m. Aug. 18 at Janss and Moorpark roads; a male, 35, at 7:33 p.m. Aug. 15 in the 200 block of E. Wilbur Road; a male, 24, at 7:55 a.m. Aug. 16 at the USA Gas station at Moorpark and Janss roads; and a female, 40, at 8:50 p.m. Aug. 13 in the 100 block of E. Wilbur Road.

The following subjects were cited for drinking in public: Two males, 41 and 33, at 3:27 p.m. Aug. 19 in the 100 block of S. Oak View Lane; three males, between the ages of 37 and 41, around 3:35 p.m. Aug. 15 in the 100 block of S. Oak View Lane; and a male, 19, at 8:51 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 100 block of Royal Oaks Drive.
