Council on Aging topic: Housing
The Thousand Oaks Council on Aging will present a panel discussion on how the housing market affects seniors at 1 p.m. Wed., Sept. 2 in the board room, third level of city hall, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd., Thousand Oaks.
The meeting is open to the public at no charge.
The panel, organized by senior real estate specialist Don Philips, will have Debbie Rodgers, senior real estate specialist; Shelley Wells, Wells Fargo Bank, specialist in reverse mortgages; Doug Tapking, executive director of Area Housing Authority Ventura County; and Miles Weiss, senior assistant district attorney for Ventura County with expertise in fraud.
Peter Greer of Conejo Valley Association of Realtors wilmoderate the question-and-answer forum.
