Dr. Christopher Smith of Camarillo will give a presentation on Doctors Without Borders at 7:30 p.m. Fri., Aug. 21 at the Conejo Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 3327 Old Conejo Road, Newbury Park.

Smith will describe fighting a raging meningitis epidemic in Nigeria last spring.

The doctor is a retired emergency room physician, serves as president of the board of directors of the Camarillo Hospice and is a member of Conejo Valley Unitarian Universalist Fellowship.
