Senior Concerns elects Terilyn Finders to board of directors

Terilyn Finders of Agoura Hills has been elected to the board of directors of Senior Concerns, a private, nonprofit social service agency headquartered in Thousand Oaks which has provided quality of life programs for local aging seniors and informational services for caregivers since 1975.

Finders has more than 25 years of marketing communications experience and serves as director of communications for Fagen Friedman & Fulfrost LLP, a public education law firm in California.

In her volunteer role with Senior Concerns, Finders will serve an initial term as director for three years with membership on the agency’s marketing/public relations and strategic planning committees.

Finders was a two-term board member for the Las Virgenes Unified School District, where she advanced legislative change to ensure better public school services to students with autism.

She’s been active in leadership roles with Las Virgenes schools since 1995.

In 2008, she was the gala coordinator for the Boys & Girls Club annual fundraiser.
