Free concert coming to Gardens of the World on Sunday
Gardens of the World will present two more performances in the seventh annual Concert Series.
Both shows are free and will take place from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the gardens, across the street from the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza on Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
Incendio, a worldfusion guitar group that plays flamenco, Afro-Cuban and other forms of Latin music, will perform next Sun., Aug. 16.
The Pat Longo Orchestra, a swinging, big band group featuring Pat Longo and vocalist Nancy Osborne is scheduled for Sun., Aug. 23.
Longo was a key member of
he Harry James Orchestra and has been performing and record
ng for more than 30 years.
Parking is available along Thousand Oaks Boulevard.
Lawn seating is available in ront of the American bandtand.
Guests can bring blankets,
awn chairs and picnic baskets. Smoking, glass containers and pets are not allowed.
