Kids catch their limits of magnetic fish


CAUGHT ONE—Teri Dennis of Thousand Oaks fishes with her daughter, Maranda, 4. They were angling last Saturday morning at Conejo Creek Park North during the Kids Fishing Frenzy. The annual event is hosted by Conejo Recreation and Park District and the Thousand Oaks Kiwanis Club. Children could fish in the creek with magnetic fishing lures that “caught” colored plastic fish, which were also magnetic. Young people also enjoyed games and crafts.
