ID Tech summer camp coming soon

The iD Tech summer camp, in its 11th season, provides weeklong, day and overnight handson technology summer programs for students ages 7 to 18.

Locally the camp takes place on the campuses of UCLA, Pepperdine University, California Lutheran University, UC Irvine and UC San Diego.

Beginning to advanced learners can learn to design video games, websites with Flash, digital movies, C++ or Java programs, graphic art, robots, 3-D models and more using industrygrade software.

Classes average six students per instructor, providing personalized instruction from tech-savvy staff.

Staff members are trained, adultonly instructors with no counselors in training.

Many instructors come from Stanford, MIT, UCLA and other top institutions throughout the nation.

Students also participate in camp activities each day, including traditional outdoor activities, gaming tournaments, Guitar Hero and campus tours.
